Madeline McDade completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts specialising in Ceramics at the University of South Australia in 2015. Currently she works as a ceramics associate at the JamFactory in South Australia.
“One of the most important aspects of ceramics for me is the tactility of my work. I aspire to create works that are enjoyable to touch, hold and use. My works are inspired by natural and in-organic forms, the textures and colours of which influence in the outcome of my artistic practice. I use the process of hand throwing and building to create simple forms and a variety of stoneware clay bodies that accentuate the qualities of the glazes that I use.”
