EXHIBITING 1 JULY – 28 MAY
Tara spent most of her childhood drawing horses and more horses, providing the foundation of skills and the inspiration she needed to ignite her passion for Illustration and Design. Her subject manner has evolved into so much more because she now is inspired by much more than horses, be it man-made and natural objects, stories, memories or flitting between the country and the city. Along with her subjects, Tara’s technique has also evolved considerably, where her dedication has seen her to practice many different styles, ranging from watercolour painting, to delicate paper cuts and computer-generated vectors. Through illustration Tara wishes to provide the world with more inspiration and beauty, and her dedication and passion might allow her to do just that.
Tara spends a long time brainstorming and pulling apart briefs in order to achieve her very conceptual and unique ideas. She then refines them into detailed plans ready to sketch onto paper and cut. Although quite new to the world of papercut, she finds it a unique and challenging but enjoyable method of image making.
